LOTEM WATCH 2010

Leroy “Skip” Lotem is an internationally known celebrity most famous for his music and his strange brand of video performances.  Lotem hit the scene in 1996 with a public access show called Artistic Sewage and over the next 10 years he rose to fame on MTV and in certain theaters in Amsterdam’s Red Light District. When his album sales exploded around the globe internationally the pressures of Lotem’s fame began to mount. He received a controversial hair cut from actor Adrien Brody while making an appearance in The Brothers Bloom, and shortly thereafter Skip disappeared from the public eye. His yet-to-be-released album “Beat The Sh*t Outta Me” remains unfinished, and is the source of much controversy in England. Meanwhile, in June 2009 photos began surfacing to celebrity gossip site FMS, indicating that Skip Lotem may or may not be well. Much debate has arisen about the authenticity of the photos, and it is a well-known fact that Skip Lotem used body-doubles in recent years. Here at the official Skip Lotem website we will be posting these photos and letting you decide. We here are praying for Skip’s return, and in the meantime we are working around the clock to preserve his enormous body of work.
